Sunday April 2, 2017 28 students from Moultonborough Academy competed at the State History Competition, called NHD at Plymouth State University. There were over 10 high schools at the event and a record number of students present. Students competed in five different categories to reflect their individual talents: Exhibits, Documentaries, Websites, Papers, and Performances. Every project was student created and reflected incredible depth of research. Each student was familiar with the primary sources related to their topics and took a defendable position on their topic. Student projects reflected diverse interests from environmentalism to civil rights. Students who finish in the top two spots qualify to represent New Hampshire at the National competition in June.
